Changing our ancillary task ideas

- The first image shows our original idea for our front page album cover prior to doing detailed research; Poppy went on to create the smokey writing using Photoshop. Although we were happy with the results after we did some in detail specific research for the front cover and the rest of our digi-pak, we realised the colour and overall look just wasn't right for our cover.

- Collectively we decided to change the album front cover after gaining inspiration from an album front cover I found during research seen in the third image. We felt that an album cover such as this one would portray the ideas we wanted in the best way. For example confinement within his depressive emotional state thinking about the mysterious girl, shown through the arms rounds his neck.

- We then went on to decide that a flame similar to the one found on the second image would work well as part of the pamphlet that goes inside the CD case would work well with our ancillary task, however we would adapt the idea by faintly editing Lilly’s face unto the flame, not only does this link back to our music video and the rest of our ancillary task, it also continues with the Gold and black theme we planned, it also connotes bereavement, raising questions again as to if she is a ghost.
